Eastern Greene Middle School offers its students many opportunities in Arts Education such as Art Class, Band, Choir, Orchestra, and General Music Class.

General Music-
All Eastern Greene students in sixth grade attend General Music class as part of their “Specials” rotation. In this class students continue their music skills through singing, playing, listening, and composing. Sixth grade Music Class also features an extended unit of study on the ukulele. The music curriculum, which is taught by a licensed teacher, follows the state and national standards for music education. The music curriculum is coordinated with the academic curriculum when possible.
Mrs. Drummond is the music teacher for General Music Classes.
Art
Middle school art class consists of covering the elements and principles of art and design through a series of awesome art projects? Students will get exposed to a variety of art and artists as well as art history.
